My name is Chiara Salvini and I have recently graduated from my bachelor's in psychology and neuroscience at Erasmus University in Rotterdam.
I have come to Maastricht for my next step, a master's In clinical neuropsychology- very exciting! I am currently striving to become a clinical neuropsychologist to work in health settings and work alongside doctors to help diagnose mental illnesses.
I am half Italian and Ecuadorian and 21 years old. When I am not busy with Uni work I love to try new recipes, dancing almost to anything but personally, one of my favorite styles is salsa. I am an absolute cat and dog lover (animals in general).
I have had pets my whole life: hamsters, rabbits, dogs, chickens, and cats. My current pet's name is FUFU (the beautiful cat in the pictures) he is my baby and sadly I cannot be with him as he is living with my parents while I am studying here in the Netherlands, so as you may understand I am terribly nostalgic of cuddling with cats (or dogs) or any animal that I can care for.
I am excited to meet your pet, feed them and give them all the extra love FUFU isn't getting. I am fluent in English, Spanish, Italian, French, and (some) Thai. I am currently learning dutch but I cannot yet say I can speak it, I hope this isn't an issue for your pet! ;) I have now experience in all services: home dog boarding, house sitting, home visits, and dog walking! So do not hesitate!
I look forward to meeting you and your adorable pets!
Ps. I live 8 minutes away from a park where your dog is safe to enjoy their time in an open space among other dogs. I always prefer to leave the leash on for extra caution.
If you have any questions feel free to contact me and we can discuss details and- if given enough time, meet up!
Good gardian, everything went well
We just moved to Maastricht and needed to find someone to look after our dog for a couple of hours while sorting out an official to do. It would have been very stressful for Bailey to stay alone in a new house. We are more than delighted that Chiara was free on that day! She has such a lovely approach to animals :), following their needs and reading their body language well. Even though Bailey was worried about being without us, he didn't show any sign of stress and happily continued his day as nothing happened. This is a sign that he felt loved and cared for. Thank you, Chiara, for your time :)
As I have a cat (not currently in the same country as me) I was responsible for administrating pills and oral liquid medication. Furthermore, one of my dogs in Ecuador has diabetes therefore I am aware of how to administer injected insulin to dogs.
I have experience on administering injected insulin on cats as well!
