Hello! I'm Magda, I'm in my 30s and I live in Lelystad since March 2023. I work from home and have a flexible schedule, so I would love to add some nice time with animals to my day-to-day life 😉 I joined Pawshake in 2024 to get to interact with animals more.

Ever since I can remember, I have always been around and loved animals. As a young kid, I had a dog and always helped my grandma with her cats. I started pet-sitting when I was in primary school, looking after my neighbors dog, Scooter, and taking him for walks. As my brother was born, it turned out he is allergic to a lot of furry animals, and so I had an aquarium with fish, and when I was ten, I got a chinchilla for Christmas. I loved and cared for him, and we had a great run until he passed when he was twenty 😢 Now I live with two little chinchilla cuties, Bandit and Ghost (and my husband 😉). I am a big animal lover but as I seem to be blessed with my loved-ones being allergic to many animals, I can have cats or dogs, and would love to have more contact with them by pet-sitting.

As I am new to Pawshake, I was inspired to joined after having great experience with fellow Pawshakers look after my chinchillas, and after looking after cats of neighbors when they were on holidays.

I have experience administering medication orally, and injecting fluids to rodents, but no veterinarian or medical training.

Currently, I am offering house-visits, to look after cats and rodents and soon I plan to extend it to dog-walking!

Home visits:

- Before we finalize the booking, I would like to do a meet-and-greet, so I can get to know more about your pet, their needs and your expectations, and if we click well, I will accept the booking.

- If we agree that this is a good fit, I will visit your house 1 times a day and ensure that your pets have clean water, fresh food (and hay or sticks if applicable), will clean the litter box and, of course, I will give them a lot of attention and affection (if that is in their comfort zone 😉). The visit would last around 30 minutes.

- After the visit, you can expect to receive an update message from me as well as some photos and/or videos. I know that every pet-parent misses their furry (or not!) babies, so it's nice to see they are doing well!

- I am happy to also water your plants, pick up post, or take care of similar small chores.
