Hello friends,

My name is Marinica (Marie) and I'm an animal lover! As everybody on this platform, I am passionate about pets and spending time together to make sure they are loved and taken care of. You can scroll down for some questions and answers (FAQ) :D

What's in it for you?

I'm a remote worker, meaning that I work 100% from home. I can work from your home too and stay with your furry friends during the day to make them feel safe and less alone. I can also go for a long walk during my lunch break!

I am experienced with dog, cat and home sitting, included a week long period. If it's been a while since you've been on holidays, I'm definitely the person for you :-)

I'm reliable, sweet and most of the people tell me I'm cute. You can expect your pets to get a lot of cuddles and play time! I'm also more than happy to share the bed with them during the night if they are used to cosleeping. I'm extremely respectful of your rules and habits too, of course!

I'm based in Leiden but happy to move around if needed.

Last but not least, I volunteered in a cat and dog shelter back in Italy and helped with social media posts. I also love illustration and I'm happy to create tote bags and similar personalised items!

FAQ- How long are the dog walks?

From 15 minutes to an hour, depending on your needs and the service.

- How many walks per day?

This depends on the service and the distance I need to travel. If it takes me more than 15 minutes to arrive to your home and you prefer that I don't stay at your place during the day, it will probably be one long walk.

If you are happy with dog&home sitting: 2-3 walks per day of 15 minutes + 1 long walk of 30-60 minutes.

- How many dogs can you walk at the same time?

2 small dogs (I have experience with walking regularly 2 Italian greyhounds)

1 medium-big dog

- What time can you visit?

This depends on the service as well. I work remotely (from home) Mon-Fri 9 am - 6:30 pm with an hour long lunch break.

If we are close to each other, I can visit before and after my work day and during my lunch break.

If we don't live close to each other and you are happy with me working from your home, we can discuss what works best for you :)

If it's weekend, I am flexible.

- Do you have a car?

No, I don't. I have a driver's license tho.

This means that I will need to reach you and move around by public transport.

- What's the maximum distance that you are willing to travel?

Any area around Leiden.

I am happy to visit new places - especially if you are thinking about dog + house sitting, just text me and we can get it from there :)

- Do you offer onboarding?

I really want to, but at the moment I live in a small one bedroom flat and I prefer to offer home sitting. I will update my profile if this changes.

- Will you take as many bookings as possible?

No. I like giving my attention to one client at a time. However, if you and your friends are living close to each other and want to discuss the possibilities, let me know!

- Why did you sign up?

I really love animals (all of them!) but I can't have pets where I live. A friend of mine recommended Pawshake and here I am :D
