Hi! I'm Ismay, a 23 year old Dutch student living in Leeuwarden. I recently returned from my internship in Suriname and am excited to get to spend time with pets again!

I have loved animals ever since I was young. My love and interest for them is so great that I'm currently studying Wildlife Management at Van Hall Larenstein Leeuwarden so I can focus my career on the conservation of endangered animals.

Living in Leeuwarden is a lot of fun, but I miss spending time with pets. I'm not allowed to have animals in my home in Leeuwarden. Which is also the reason my cat lived with my parents (she's on the first picture if you want to see her!). When my cats were newborn kittens when we rescued them, we had to bottle feed the smallest and we weren't sure if she was going to make it. She lived happily with us for 15 years!

Even though I'm not allowed to have pets in my home, I can still take very good care of your pets in their own familiar and trusted environment.

I have a lot of experience with all kinds of animals. I'm a graduated animal caretaker (at Aeres College in Barneveld). I've worked at a pet hotel & doggy daycare where I took care of the cats and dogs and at a petting zoo where I took care of all the farm animals. Present day I'm a volunteer at Burgers' Zoo Arnhem where I'm part of a research team. And I regularly help a Texelaar (sheep) and Friesan horse breeder with the care of the animals and the delivery of the lambs. I also have experience with more "difficult" cats and dogs and during my animal caretaker studies I also learned to take care of other animals like reptilians, birds and rodents.

The main services I offer are:

* 30 - 60 minute home visits which include feeding, providing fresh water, cleaning the litterbox and playing and cuddling with your pet(s). Grooming/brushing, bathing, cutting nails and giving medication can be talked about.

Watering plants and/or collecting the mail are possible aswell.

* Taking your dog for a 30 - 45 minute walk. Longer walks can be talked about!

* Sending pictures of your pets from my visits!

* Additional pet services can be talked about aswell.

I would love to fill some of my free time taking care of and cuddling and playing with pets.
