I’ve grown up with pets (cats and dogs) in my home since I was born, so, to me, it’s like they’re part of the family. I’m brazilian and 19 years old. I actually live in Brazil, but i’m staying for the next 2 months in the Netherlands because I came to visit my family (my sister lives here and also has 2 cats in her house). I decided to become a pet sitter so I can do something useful on my free time while in here.

In Brazil I have 2 cats and 1 dog too, and they 3 were adopted from animal shelters.

As a pet owner, I understand that cats and dogs have different needs. I mean, cats usually prefer to have their own space and take their times to trust you. You need to be patient and don’t force it to happen. Some cats may also have ”strong personalities”. I am ready to deal with any kind of situation with cats’ personalities, because I love to know them better even if it means being bitten or scatched.

About the dogs, I will love to not just feed and walk them, but play with them and give them love and attention. Some dogs need to spend their energies playing and running outside so they won’t eat the furniture or your shoes.

I will be able to learn about any special needs your cats and dogs have, such as medications for example.
