Hello!

My name is Vanessa. I am a Minnesotan living in Arnhem, The Netherlands.

I am a cat mom to Paisley! She's a fluffy American calico cat that made the move with me to The Netherlands from Minnesota. She is seven years old. Paisley loves playing and cuddling.

I love all kinds of animals. I have grown up with both cats and dogs. I had my first pet cat Kristy at the age of 3. My family dog was Cock-a-Poo, Cody. He lived a long and happy 16 years. I am a dog-aunt to my sister's dog Ally. Ally is a rescue Jack Russell Terrier mix. She's full of energy! Ally and I enjoy time together hiking and at the dog parks. I also grew up spending time at my family's dairy farm. I love spending time with furry friends and would love the opportunity to take care of and walk your dog!

More about services, I am happy to take your dog on a long one-hour walk! I charge 20 euros for a one-hour walk. I will track the walk and send pictures of your furry friend! I will send you an update after completion of the walk. I offer both "as needed services" as well as "weekly scheduled" walks. If you'd like to set up weekly walks, please feel to reach out! 

I also offer home visits and home stays. With home visits, I will come check in on your pet and send you an update on how they are doing. With home stays, I will come to your house and stay with your pet in their normal environment. This offers them maxium comfort while you are gone. I will take care of all their needs as well as play with them during your time away. I am happy to send you updates on your pet as much as you'd like. 

I have a flexible schedule and work from home. I teach English online and run my own business, Expat Emotional Wellness, as a mental health coach for expats in The Netherlands.

More about my professional background, I have Bachelor of Arts Degree in Social Work from Concordia College and Master of Social Work degree from University of St. Thomas. I have seven years of experience of medical social work, community case management, and school social work. I am the Business Owner and a Mental Health Coach at Expat Emotional Wellness. Expat Emotional Wellness offers mental health coaching to expats in The Netherlands. My mission is to help expats reach their goals of emotional wellness and personal growth. Expat Emotional Wellness offers support in stress management, work-life balance, personal relationships, loss, and other areas of emotional wellness.
