Hi there, my name is Ece and I'm currently a PhD student at the University of Groningen. I moved to Groningen in 2020 to pursue my studies. One of the first things I did after moving here was to adopt a cat with my flatmate. We became proud cat parents to a lovely little boy who's now two years old. He's a smart little guy, but also quite mischievous at times!

Aside from my own fur baby, I also have a lot of experience with other animals. My family has a cottage house in my home country where we share our garden with two dogs and six cats. Sometimes, our neighbors' cats even join us, and we end up with a big group of feline and canine friends enjoying the sunny weather in our garden.

I'm motivated to be a pet sitter on Pawshake because spending time with animals is incredibly meditative for me. It brings me so much joy to see them happy and healthy, and I believe that animals have a lot to teach us about living in the moment and appreciating the simple things in life.

As a pet owner, I understand how important it is for you to feel comfortable and confident leaving your furry friends in the care of someone else. Although I don't have professional experience as a pet sitter, I have plenty of personal experience and a genuine love for animals.
