Hello and welcome!

My name is Franchesica and I am 27 years old. I have recently moved to the Netherlands within the past year from the USA, and I am loving it here! I live with my Dutch husband (we are newlyweds!) and our amazing almost-one-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier named Teun (who is not neutered). I am currently working part time, but I am still looking to fill my time with helping those that need someone to watch their beloved pet while away for business, vacation, a family emergency--anything! 

We live in a house with a really nice fenced in backyard that Teun loves to play in (and hopefully a new friend)! The garden is quite long, so if your pet needs to run, or maybe just has the zoomies, then our yard is perfect. Our house is two floors high, and Teun is permitted to go everywhere, as will your pet. Teun does sleep with the both of us at night and if that is something your pet needs, then they are more than welcome to join. We also have a spare room upstairs we can put their bed in, or if they'd like to stay down on the couch that is perfectly okay too. :-) If there are any rules that you follow in your own home, we can definitely follow those here as well. Our house is their house!

The surrounding area of the house is a typical neighborhood with a really nice walking area that is easily accessible. For those in need of a longer walk, our neighborhood also offers a really large walking/nature area that we can absolutely visit. We take Teun there almost every week for a really nice long walk and to burn off some energy! As I mentioned above, I am not working so your pet will have constant supervision and will be around me quite often. My husband does work but is home in the early afternoon, so he will be here as well for them. Needless to say, they will have a lot of attention! 

I have been around dogs all of my life--breeds ranging from as large as Great Danes, Rottweilers, Boxers, Bulldogs, American Staffies, Chow Chows to as small as Yorkies, Jack Russell Terriers, and of course the beloved Chihuahua! No one is a stranger here. :-) We would love for Teun to make new friends in the surrounding area and he really loves to play with any and every dog! 

At this time, I do only speak English (I am learning Dutch), maar als je alleen nederlands spreekt, kan mijn man helpen met vertalen! I would also like to add that meeting before is a must. We have to make sure our pets get along well before they spend time here for their safety and ours as pet owners!
