Hey there - this is Barbara & Vino the golden retriever, lovely to meet you! :)

About us:

I'm 28 years old, living - studying - working in the Netherlands the past few years. I absolutely love dogs and always had one growing up. I truly love spending time with all breeds and sizes, and being a fur mom myself is one of the most beautiful things I can imagine.

Vino is a handsome 2 years-old golden retriever (neutered). He is super social with dogs, bit scared of people at first. He adores meeting new dogs and playing with them, but can also very well recognize if another dog needs space from him. He also loves his fluffy toys, taking naps and is always open to going on big walks/hikes and adventures! In general he is very chill and can adjust very well to new situations.

We both love the company of new furry friends and will gladly take care of your fur baby when you're away; with us you can be sure they will receive all the attention and care they deserve.

Our home & surroundings:

In our house it is just Vino and me, no other humans or pets :). We live in a 2-story cozy house in a quiet neighborhood. We have a small, fully fenced and secured back garden with a small fish pond and some grassy area (see picture in gallery). Dogs are welcome in and out of the house literally anywhere. Your dog can stay on the couch and on the bed too, unless they are trained otherwise and you would not like them to do so. There is space for a bench and we have 2 dog beds available.

There are lots of fenced dog areas in the neighborhood, which are close, accessible and safe. There is a lot of green in the area in general as well. The Liesbos forest is 3 minutes away with car, where dogs can run freely (off-leash) if they wish and can (have a good recall). 

We usually walk 3-4 times a day with Vino, adding up to 1.5-2 hours in total. Of course we can do more or less if we take care of another dog with different needs.

Supervision and availability

I currently work from home and don't have to go to the office, unless I want to. For this reason I can be super flexible with check-in/out times as well as last-minute requests and I am able to supervise your dog at all times. I will never leave your dog alone if they are staying with us for daycare. If I am boarding a dog for a longer period (several days), then the max time would be half hour - 1 hour to arrange possible urgent errands and groceries.

Services

Doggy daycare: you can bring and pick-up your dog anytime between 8 AM and 11 PM. We will take 3-4 walks (or more or less, depending on your dogs routine / with Vino we usually walk 2 hours total a day, 2x short and 2x
45 minutes), have lots of playtime, but also some well-needed rest. I will make sure your dog gets all the attention and care :) I can feed your dog according to your instructions and give medication if required. I can also groom them (brush fur, wash them (we only have a shower), brush teeth, etc.) if requested. If your dog is in training I can follow your instructions and practice with your dog if you like.

Dog boarding: in addition to the daycare activities, during boarding I will make sure the dog is able to find a comfortable, home-y spot to sleep. If your dog sleeps in the bench at night, there is plenty of space both downstairs and upstairs to place the bench. If your dog is younger and would need potty breaks during the night, I will make sure to let them have access to the back garden if they need it.

Important: For both daycare and boarding I take dogs only from one family at a time)

Dog walking: if you just want someone to walk your dog during the day, I am also available for that. I can do the same location twice a day, unless you live within 5 km-s, then I can take your dog out 3 times if needed. I can walk your dog as long as you would like, be it a short one or an hour long walk. I have a car so I can take your dog to a specific place if you wish. Vino (my dog) can join us or not, depending on your preference.

Home-visits: I can drop-by at your house to check on your dog or feed them. This can also include walking and staying over for a bit if it is needed. For home-visits the duration is max 2 hours and the same goes as with the dog walking, Vino (my dog) can join us or not, depending on your wishes.

Extra services: pick-up and/or drop-off with car, administer medications (oral/injected), grooming, training.

If you ever decide to bring your dog to stay with us, I can assure you that your rules and schedule for your fur baby will be a priority for me to keep. I will take care of your fur baby the way I take care of mine.
