Hi! I'm Florence, 26 years old, I am a financial risk consultant who is now taking a career break, and I am thrilled to offer my pet sitting services in Amsterdam. I live in Zuidoost area of Amsterdam, in a pet-friendly neighborhood with lots of parks nearby where pets could play, and you can see many people walking their dogs on the street everyday which makes me feel warm and lovely.

My motivation to be a pet sitter stems from my deep love and respect for animals. Growing up, I spent every holiday caring for my aunt’s Pekingese, a sweet dog who brought immense joy to my life. After the Pekingese passed away five years ago, I was hesitant to adopt another dog due to the pain of losing a beloved pet. However, I’ve recently moved to Amsterdam and feel ready to reconnect with the joy and energy that pets bring.

I have a wealth of experience in caring for both dogs and cats. Besides my childhood experience with my aunt’s dog, I regularly help my friends walk their puppies like poodle and pomeranian, ensuring the dog gets its necessary exercise and health checks. Additionally, I have a three-year-old British Shorthair cat, who was previously mistreated and now requires daily medication for kidney issues. My experience in administering oral medication and providing special care means your pet will be in capable hands. I also help take care of my colleagues' cats when they are away on business, either by providing temporary boarding or visiting them for feeding and little box cleaning.

I believe that pets are family members who deserve the best care and attention. Through pet sitting, I aim to make a positive impact on the lives of pets and ease their owners’ worries. Knowing that I can provide a safe, loving environment for pets while their owners are away gives me a sense of fulfillment and purpose.

I prioritize the health and safety of all pets in my care, so I only accept vaccinated pets into my home. This policy ensures a safe environment for everyone. I also offer personalized care tailored to each pet’s unique needs, from dietary requirements to exercise routines.
