Since I was a baby, there has never been a moment when I didn’t have a cat or dog curled up at my feet. My mother’s deep love for cats inspired the same in me, but my affection extends to all animals—big or small, furry or feathered, scaly or smooth! Growing up, my sister and I shared our home with hamsters, birds, chickens, cats, dogs, and even a bearded dragon. This lifelong companionship with animals has given me a unique understanding of their needs, personalities, and quirks.

I began pet sitting as a student during my undergrad, initially as a way to earn some extra money. Later, while working as a freelance dancer and performer, pet sitting became a wonderful way to supplement my income. But for me, pet sitting has never been just a job. Every family that welcomes me into their home, and every pet I care for, becomes an extension of my own family. Their pets truly hold a special place in my heart.

Moving from South Africa to the Netherlands to pursue my master’s degree was a big adventure, but leaving behind my beloved pets created a hole in my heart. That’s why caring for your pets brings me so much joy and comfort. I understand how important it is to know your furry (or feathery, or scaly!) family members are safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. I promise to treat your pets with the same affection, patience, and attention I give my own.

What I Offer:

• Flexible Availability: As a student, my schedule is adaptable. I am available for daily visits, dog walks, on-board sitting, and overnight stays. I’m also open to travelling within the Netherlands for pet sitting assignments, especially during the summer months.
• Experienced Care: I have extensive experience with cats and dogs of all ages and temperaments, including senior pets and those with medical needs. I am comfortable administering medication and providing extra TLC for pets who need it.
• All Animals Welcome: While I have the most experience with cats, dogs, birds, and reptiles, I am open to caring for other types of pets as well. If you have a unique or exotic animal, I’d love to meet them!
• Personal Touch: I pride myself on building a bond with every animal I care for. I take time to learn their routines, favorite toys, and special needs, ensuring they feel comfortable and secure in my care.
