Hi!

I'm Luca, originally from Germany but moved to Amsterdam almost 6 years ago - first to study and now I stayed for work.

Why I signed up on Pawshake? As someone who grew up with dogs, I know firsthand the joy and companionship that they can bring into our lives. That is why I started to miss having dogs around me when I moved from Germany to the Netherlands a few years ago. However, due to my busy schedule, which requires me to travel frequently, I am unable to have a dog of my own at the moment.

But this is where dog sitting comes in! Being able to take care of someone else's dog allows me to spend time with my favorite pets, while helping someone else navigating their busy lives with dogs.

My experience? It is mostly based on taking care of my family's and friends' dogs over the past 15 years. Hence, I consider myself quite experienced. I am quite flexible and happy to adapt depending on what the dog needs. Thanks to my flexible work environment, I can work from home 40-50% of the week, so I'm available on the weekends and some weekdays.

My services? I am happy to take care of your dog during the day at my place, to take it for a walk during lunch/ dinner time (~30 minutes or longer), or to house-sit when needed. I can administer medication (orally). My preference is to take care of no more than one dog at the same time.
