My name is Maria Luisa, 38 years old,

I'm a Brazilian-Italian journalist, based in Amsterdam, with a profound love for animals of all kinds and a special connection with cats. I have two adorable

cats

at home and have been catsitting for friends for a couple of years. Whenever they need to travel, I'm the one who they trust their beloved ones with!

Not only I'm very organized and reliable when it comes to schedule, feeding, cleaning and routine

activities

but I have

also

the ability to understand how to approach and take care of pets when they are feeling stressed or sad because of the absence of their owners.

It's the utmost importance to understand a pet's personality and current wishes/feelings which is something I can do effortlessly

using

my

empathic and sensitive manner towards their behavior.

Cat sitting is something that I do with love and respect. I'm

always very grateful and

it's very

fulfilling to be able to give love and attention when they most need.

As

I

am

a freelance writer, I have a very flexible agenda

and

able to look after pets

(dogs and cats)

at their home

in different timeslots (up to 2 hours in the morning and likewise in the afternoon/early evening). I can also stay overnight in case your pet needs an extended company. While I am at your home,

I

will

provide constant reports about the pet's routine.

Your place will be treated just like I treat my own: clean and tidy!

I live just a few steps

away

from the Bilderdijkpark which is a lovely small park ideal for short walks; I'm

also very close to the Westerpark which is perfect

to walk your dog for a longer period

(for dog walks I'm available for up to 1 hour in the mornings and likewise in the afternoon/early evening but I'm also open to discussion if your pet is used to exercise more).

On top of that,

I can offer simple grooming, including brushing your pets. Also,

if your pet requires a special treatment - such as take

some medicine - I can also provide assistance on this.

Here's a breakdown of my services:

- Up to 2

visits

per day (I stay at your home from

- Up to 2 dog walks per day (I walk your dog from 30 min up to 1 hour; 2 times a day);

- Cuddles, playtime and brushing;
