About me:
My name is Nadine, I am half German and half Dutch-Surinamese. I've grown up and lived all over the world - New Zealand, Poland, Singapore, South Korea and Germany before settling down in the Netherlands. This has helped me grow a wide understanding of cultures and enabled me to speak a variety of languages (German, Dutch, English, basic Spanish, basic Korean). So feel free to reach out in these languages, though my Spanish may be rusty! ;) I work as a Photography Producer & Agent and represent two photographers. This means that I handle and produce all of their projects, take care of their client communication, and help with their talent and portfolio development. It is a big responsibility to take care of their career and involves a lot of multitasking, which can be stressful at times. But it's so worth it when you see a project come together!
Motivation & experience
Animals have always been a source of joy and relaxation for me, and I love sharing that joy with others. Offering care for another furry friend just makes sense. Having a dog of my own (Molly, a now 14-year-old Jack Russel Terrier that I raised from when she was just two months old), I know the responsibilities associated with caring for an animal and going above and beyond to ensure their happiness and comfort. I feed, walk, train, bathe, play with, and give affection and belly rubs. Living centrally near 3 of Amsterdam’s large parks (Vondelpark, Westerpark, and Rembrandtpark) and the Bilderdijk Park within a 1-minute walk, there is no shortage of locations for fresh air and exercise. There even is a pet store next door to my home where we can shop for feed and toys, so your pet is taken care of. With remote work and an apartment with no other animals (my dog now lives with my family), my workspace is flexible to your pet's schedule.
Services
As a team of two, we're available around the clock to take care of your pet (morning, afternoon & evening). We offer dog walking, daycare, boarding, home visits & house sitting. We're flexible in the length of these services as well. Dog walks are a minimum of 30 minutes, depending on the stamina and fitness of your dog. Home visits are an hour minimum. For dog boarding, we provide to take care of your dog at our home starting at two days minimum. Doggy day care is provided for one day minimum.
When house sitting, I am flexible in the length of the stay and happy to accommodate to your need.
Bonus
I can teach your dog to skate in ~5 months with classical conditioning (skateboard, treats and clicker not included)
Everyone is welcome!
Though I myself grew up with dogs (and a rabbit + guinea pig), my roommate Kaitlynn has lived with cats all her life. We are therefore happy to host all kinds of pets, everyone is welcome in our home. As we are both working from home, we are happy to go for walks multiple times of the day and are flexible to meet your pet's schedule. My roommate and I further love playing with pets and creating a cozy space for your pet with lots of cuddles.
Images
The first few images are of our home - and your pet's vacation getaway! We have a spacious and comfortable living room where we would play with your pet, and even a small balcony to allow for some fresh air. The Bilderdijk Park is a 1-min walk away!
I have also included some photos of my dog Molly when she was just a little puppy (and I was quite young myself). In the next image, you will see Molly at her impressive age of 14. The remaining images are fun experiences with animals in various places.
Our dog Pablo has stayed with Nadine multiple times. We really like the ease of communication, regular updates and home Nadine gives him!
We've booked with Nadine multiple times and are always really happy. Our dog Pablo seems to have a wonderful time with her!
