Demi

Even though Demi is a nice person, really eager to help, I am not sure if she could qualify as an appropriate cat sitter. I had agreed for a period of 13 days to take care of my cat while I would be abroad, but on 5th day she complained that my cat attacked and injured her, also provided pictures for that. I asked her to skip a day for both her and my cat to calm down, and after that even I had to check with her what is the status of my cat, if she went to feed him, while no pictures were provided. On 7th day she informed me that she is not willing to feed my cat anymore because she is scared of him and asked me if I have a friend to take care of my cat instead. While abroad, this is the last thing you want to hear, obviously if there were friends available I wouldn’t work with Pawshake. In the end, after intense effort I managed to find a friend who could take care of my cat, which she did for the remaining days, without any issue or any sign of stress or danger created from my cat. Honestly I have no clue what went wrong while Demi was taking care of my cat, but denying to provide the service you were hired for is very irresponsible. Again, Demi is very nice and kind person, so we agreed on a refund for the days she didn’t go anymore, but overall was a stressful experience to have to find someone to take care of my cat while abroad.
