Hello Pet Parents

My husband and I moved to Amsterdam 4 and a half years ago from South Africa and welcomed our beautiful furbaby Hatchi (3,5 year old male Pomeranian) to our family.

We both love animals, of all shapes and sizes, and have years of experience taking care of dogs (big, small and tiny), cats, birds, snakes, guinea pigs, fish and any other animal that came through our doors as a rescue (including hedgehogs, mice and monkeys!).

It is our main concern that all animals in our care feel safe, secure and loved so we make sure to give plenty of attention, calm atmosphere and walks. We are happy to try different techniques to make sure animals feel at home and comfortable and will send plenty of pics, videos and updates - we know how it feels to leave your baby in someone else's care.

Our home is on the groundfloor in a peaceful neighborhood in Amsterdam, right next to Vondel, where we go for daily walks. Hatchi is very social and loves to explore in the park - he is also a very good listener and walks off lead everywhere we go. My husband and I work from home and take breaks from work often to enjoy puppy cuddles.

A typical day with our family includes 1 to 2 walks in Vondel, morning and night feeding (sometimes using hand feeding or foraging techniques), play time in the garden, grooming fur and brushing teeth after dinner on the couch while we watch Friends!

Our dog is up to date with vaccinations and is very relaxed and social with all animals.

Hatchi sleeps where he wants to at night (depending on his mood this is on the bed, under the bed, on the floor or at the front door) - he is a free ranger.

We are happy to arrange a reference or two if that would make you feel more comfortable leaving your loved one in our care.

Please note that for dog walking and home visits, we only cover areas in oud west.
