Hi, my name is Rebecca and I am a 26-year-old living in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Officially I'm Dutch but I spent most of my life in Spain and moved back to Amsterdam about four years ago. I speak English, Dutch, Slovak and of course Spanish. My hobbies include painting, pilates, and healthy cooking. I have had lots of experience with dogs/cats before and I simply enjoy their company. I know that living in the city might be tricky for both owners and their pets sometimes because people can be busy. I would like to be a part-time substitute for your pet so that he/she doesn't feel lonely and I promise to take care of them until you get home. At the moment I am working in my art studio and from home therefore I can spend time with your pet and also go out for walks during my breaks in the day.
When it's time for the dogs to take a walk, I usually spend about 1 hour to 1 and 1/2 hours doing so. I either walk them between 2 - 4 times a day depending on how big and energetic they are. I live alone in an apartment in the centre of Amsterdam and I am able to walk to any dog-friendly space within 5 minutes. Your buddy will be able to rest in my living room while I sleep next door. During home visits, I will be able to stay with your pet for an hour or so and I will make sure to stop by in the late mornings and early evenings. I'm usually more flexible for house sits on the weekend but I can always make time in the week if we plan this beforehand. My weekdays are however I plan them therefore they can be flexible with time to dog sit. :)
My reason for applying to this service is because I love animals. I've loved all animals ever since I was a kid and therefore I wanted to start pet sitting. Growing up with my family's dog I've been able to understand what it is that he needed. My best buddy and teacher of the dog realm. I am a responsible and compassionate pet sitter and I usually respond quickly to any inquiries. I am also not allergic to any type of animal. Let me know if you would like to meet so I can get to know you as well as your little four-pawed friend.
Everything was good! Would bring Leila back next time.
