Ojas

Hi! 

My name is Ojas and I'm 25. I’m originally from India but studied my bachelor’s in the UK before moving to Amsterdam. I’ve been here for almost 4 years now and am currently doing a Master's, which means I have a pretty flexible schedule. So I thought I’d sign up for Pawshake to walk/look after your cat and/or dog companions :)

The pandemic made me realise how much I miss having an animal friend around since I grew up with a dog (her name is Ivy, she’s an English cocker spaniel and I FaceTime with her every day). I’ve also fostered rescue dogs in the past and looked after my friends cats and dogs for small periods of times. In short, I’m confident I have the experience to comfortably look after your furry babies as they are my own and tailor my care to their needs. 

I live in the Hoofddorppleinbuurt, so as long as I can bike to your house, I’m happy to - walk your dog, change/clean cat litter, feed them, play with them, cuddle them, update you on how they’re doing and also stay overnight at your house i.e. whatever you require. We can discuss any specific instructions you may have during a meet and greet.

I am now also able to consider pet boarding requests since I live in a bigger apartment with 2 other animal-loving roommates- feel free to enquire about that as well :) We're happy to host pets at our home for shorter durations- or longer depending on the pet's personality. Our apartment spans two floors and also has a roof terrace, so we have ample space to make sure your fur baby has a comfortable stay. However, it is good to note that since our apartment is on the second floor, there are stairs involved! They're not the typical steep Dutch ones, but still two flights nonetheless 😅
