Bob & Lisa

Hi there! We're Lisa (30, from New Zealand) and Bob (31, from the Netherlands) and we love animals of all sorts, but our favourites are dogs.

Lisa grew up with a little Jack Russel called Tonto, while Bob likes to dogsit and walk his sister's Golden Retriever Franklin. We're experienced Pawshakers and have been on the app throughout the year.

About us - Bob works as a chef (when there's no lockdown) and Lisa works from home during the day at a creative production studio. We love having a dog around so if we can help other people out while we're not quite yet ready for the full-time responsibility, and especially while Bob's not working, that's great for us!

Being away from their owner can be scary for dogs, so we make sure that we can be available and at home while we're looking after someone's pet. That way, we can help manage any anxiety and make sure they're getting the right walks, play, care, naps and attention they need.

Our apartment is 75m2 with an elevator, a sunny balcony for dog sunbathing and some fresh air, and it's on a car-free street by the water overlooking De Ceuvel. We live close to a dog park and can take dogs there for a ball-throw, dig, and off-leash run around (if that's suitable).

Since we’re in an apartment we can only take two dogs at the same time if they’re small(ish) and are from the same household.
