Hello! 👋 My name is Aleksandra and I would love to take care of your pet. Together with my boyfriend Ben, we offer the best setup your dog(s) could ask for while you are away! Spacious apartment with a balcony, a lot of green & fun areas for walks, and most importantly, a caring & loving environment. We both work from home most of the time so we can make sure your furry friend has company at all times! We can provide multiple and exciting walks per day and if your dog has any special needs, we will make sure to account for that too! 😄

I’m an expat (Polish) young professional living in Amsterdam together with my Irish boyfriend, Ben. I don't have enough resources to adopt a pet on a full-time basis, but I miss animals in my life. I consider myself a well-organized, responsible and positive person. I'm also very active; even without a dog, I spend a lot of time walking or biking around. I'm open-minded and creative - I'm sure I'd be able to organize a fun time for your pet during daycare or plan an exciting walk. Together with Ben we are very flexible & trustworthy hosts - we always keep owners up to date & share pictures, even daily if appreciated.

Growing up I took care of fish, guinea pigs, and dogs, including an energetic boxer. There were always animals around since I turned 6 years old. I have some experience with farm animals too - I was best friends with two baby goats when I was a few years old 😅 Recently I have been taking care of my sister's, very demanding, Parson Russel Terrier. Spending time with pets gives me energy and makes me happy and that's the main reason I'm pet-sitting in the first place.

I currently work hybrid during the week and I have weekends off! I can spend a lot of time with a pet and I like long walks myself - so if your dog is up to them as well we will get along just fine. Depending on your needs I can adjust my schedule to fit as many walks as possible! If your dog is up for it, I can also take him / her to my office on occasion as it is pet-friendly! 

🏡 When it comes to hosting your pet at my place I can fit any size of an animal! I live in a spacious and not at all cluttered apartment. There's a nice, secure, balcony to enjoy and a lot of space for play! The apartment is located on the 18th floor, so if your dog is scared of elevators we might have a problem 😅 there's a dog living next to my apartment so sometimes we can hear some barking here and there but in general it's a very very quiet spot! 

Nowadays, hosting a pet at mine would definitely be a preference, however, I have experience with day visits, home sitting and walks! 

🏞 The area I live in is made for walks!! It takes 5 minutes walk to get to the closest off-leash area, and there are several parks around too. It is on the outer (Noord) side of Amsterdam, free of the hustle and bustle of the city.

I am flexible and I don't mind more demanding animals, either regarding tempers or due to their health condition. My availability is changing, so I might not be available always but on times I can, I will most certainly do my best to accommodate your pet in the best way!
