Dimitra

Hi! I am Dimitra, a 26-year-old from Greece and am currently finishing my Master's studies in Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. I have a lot of free time and wish to spend it playing and caring for my favourite furry friends. Living abroad sadly meant that I would be missing my lovely dog immensely, so I have a lot of extra love that I can give to your pet!

I own a large (40kg) Shepherd dog, Erica, with my boyfriend, currently staying in Greece. Living with such a calm, loving, but also high-energy demanding and dominating dog for two years taught me a lot about care, patience and training in dogs. Before getting our own dog, I used to live with my sister and her black Labrador puppy, happily involved with his upbringing and training as well. All that while spending my summers in my friend's summer home and helping out with her foster dogs there, big and small, always receiving positive comments for my compassion and dependability.

I have a deep understanding of dogs' needs and feelings and can walk, pet sit, train and keep company to your pet. I am also comfortable with giving medication if needed. Unfortunately I am not able to accommodate pets in my own house, since I live with multiple roommates, but would be more than happy to pay them visits at home, feed and play with them, and even house-sit when the owners need to leave for vacation (with multiple photos and videos sent to you every day, of course) !
