Bandit

Bandit lives up to his name. This chinchilla (no, he is not a ferret…) has a strong personality - stubborn and strong-willed but also playful and energetic. He does not like cuddles but loves running in the training wheel like he is training for the Olympics.

Born in March 2021, Bandit is already a grownup and an official chonk (he’s 700g!). He is not very fond of cuddles or pets but appreciates a tasty treat (rose buds are his absolute favorite!).

Bandit lives in a beautiful villa (large cage ;)) that he used to share with his buddy, Skittle. Unfortunately, Skittle departed to the land of eternally fresh hay recently and we hope that Bandit and Ghost will become best buddies soon.

Chinchillas are crepuscular, which means they are mostly active at dawn and dusk, so this little cutie comes alive around 8 PM. Besides, chinchillas are rather low maintenance on the daily basis - their diet is very simple (granular, fresh hay and water mainly), they need a bit of a cage refresh, and should take a sand bath every couple of days. They need a lot of exercise but Bandit has a running wheel in the cage so they will be fine if the play time outside of the cage is not possible.
