Joplin and Friends

Hello pet lovers! We are a couple coming from the lovely island of Cyprus. We moved and met in Amsterdam in 2013 when we both came for studies.

Currently, we are working and enjoying this beautiful city while developing both personally and spiritually!

We both lived around other species since our childhood years and have a dog brother and a dog sister (Nuno and Maya) and many many cats who still live in Cyprus as we could not take them away from our parents (who adore them).

Here in Amsterdam we have 2 cats, Pouhou (made up name with origins from the word 'Pure' in Estonian) and her daughter Ripple (from ''Ripple Effect''), as well as a rescued teckel, Joplin, (named after Janis), staying with us and completing our family:)

We live in a small but cosy ground-floor flat with its own garden (40m2) and we love spending our time here as well as in the neighbourhood (the beautiful Indische Buurt).

Our day starts with an early morning walk in Flevorpark, which is just around the corner. Then since we are working with shifts but also from home, we arrange our working hours around our petsitting so that at least one of us is always home.

We find it exciting to be able to do something we love and at the same time make some extra cash out of it!
